2 Team Parlay

For mobile app or laptop users, they will usually need only to select the bets they want in their parlay and click a button on their bet slip to set things up. In the following examples, the wagers we’re using are actual bets offered on DraftKings Sportsbook. Bet #1: Moneyline @ +160 Bet #2: Over 230.5 points @ -113 Overall odds. Typical point spread payouts look like this: 2 team parlay – 13/5 odds. 3 team parlay – 6/1 odds. 4 team parlay – 10/1 odds. 5 team parlay – 25/1 odds. 6 team parlay – 40/1 odds. The odds continue to get larger and better for the person making the wager with the more teams you add to it. Generally speaking, a two-team point spread parlay will pay about 2.5/1, while a three-team parlay pays 6/1, a four-team parlay pays 10/1 and a five-team parlay pays 20-1. Obviously, the more. A parlay is a single sports wager that involves two or more bets combined into one. This can include point spreads, moneylines, totals, futures, or even prop bets, as long as the bets are on different games. The allure of these bets has always been a larger payout than choosing a single team to win.

DraftKings announced via Twitter that a bettor hit a smooth $24,707.07 on a $2 parlay. If that isn’t wild enough, it was the player’s first-ever bet with the sportsbook too.

The most incredible part of the nine-team parlay that jacked up the odds were the bettor’s predictions on the Saints, Lions, Vikings, and Browns all to win by 1-6 points. Following those bets were a few prop bets mixed in that consisted of Aaron Rodgers to throw for more than 2.5 touchdowns, Drew Lock throwing over 1.5 touchdowns, and Derek Carr to throw for over 259.5 total passing yards which he has done just once in his previous five games.

Every single gambler out there is looking at this parlay thinking “why not me?” Here I am just begging to break my recent 0-5 streak and this guy just comes waltzing into a new sportsbook account and walks away with $24k and change.

The truth is, nobody can predict something as wild as this and it’s the reason it is the headline story that it is now. I would love to ask this person whether or not they actually watched every one of their bets closely or just happened to check their account at the end of football Sunday and see an extra $24,000 in their account. I would like to think that covered the beers and chicken wing bill at whatever bar this bettor was watching the games at.

Good for them though right? It is like a beginner golfer making a hole in one during his first-ever golf round, you have to be happy for them, yet you are so mad it wasn’t you.

Find the odds of winning your sports bet parlay with the free parlay calculator (with push) below.

How to Use the Parlay Calculator

Enter your wager amount and odds (yellow fields) for each leg of the parlay and you will see your potential profit, equivalent American and Decimal odds, as well as the implied win probability of your parlay bet.

For a single bet, enter odds in American format. A minus sign (-) indicates a favorite while a plus sign (+) indicates an underdog.

Moneyline odds are the most common bets in a parlay, however you can select any type of bet. A money line bet is a wager on which team you think will win. Therefore money line bets are the most straight forward and easiest to interpret, especially when there are multiple in a parlay.

See Your Parlay Odds with Bets that Push

You can also check the Push boxes if your bet has pushed. Checking this box will adjust the parlay odds to account for the fact that you have pushed a given bet.

A “push” or tie, means that your bet will not cause your parlay to be graded as a loss. Instead that leg of the parlay will basically be ignored when calculating the payout of your parlay.

A bet could push if you bet on a point spread or total that hit exactly. For example, if the New York Knicks were +8 against the Los Angeles Lakers and lost by exactly 8 points, that would be a push.

A 10 team parlay will pay out 643 times your wager amount assuming each leg of the parlay has -110 odds. For example, if you place a $10 bet on a 10 team parlay, your pay out would be $6,430.
